Revamp of Risk Training – Design and implementation of a Core Risk Curriculum

Scope of Assignment

BankT&D Training was asked to revamp the Risk Management training for two different banks based in the Middle East & Gulf region.  Both assignments first required an assessment and analysis of existing Risk training, and its effectiveness, which was facilitated via discussions with key stakeholders including the Chief Risk Officer, Corporate Bank head, and Learning & Development head.

Our Work

BankT&D Training worked closely with the respective client banks to design a Core Risk Curriculum tailored to their specific training needs resulting in a revamp of their existing training, and addressed the key deficiencies and gaps in their programs.  For both assignments, the curriculum design also included the entry level Management Associates’ program.

Results

The Core Risk curriculum put in place modular training requirements that addresses the required skill sets at different levels i.e. entry/junior, intermediate, and senior, thereby institutionalising training that is required  for targeted participants as they progress in their careers.  BankT&D were then tasked to deliver this Risk Training, across all levels, which we have been doing on an ongoing basis
